| 1. Treat all players with respect. All coaches must complete the RPC Child Protection Class as a condition for being a coach in the league. |
| 2. Be familiar with and have access to the rules of the game. |
| 3. Provide instruction for both individual and team development. Coaches should come to each practice with a well-prepared plan. Practices should begin and end on time. |
| 4. Dress appropriately. Coaches are encouraged to set an example for their team in the way they dress. For example, coaches should not wear bathing suits, tank tops, or flip-flops. |
| 5. Avoid confrontations with referees that result in ejection. |
| 6. Only one coach is allowed to stand during the game. Assistant coaches must remain seated during the game. |
